As a young boy I spent several wonderful summers in the eastern Kentucky mountains with my grandmother on my mothers side of the house whom people in that area affectionately referred to as "Aunt Marg" for she was in many ways a loving aunt to many, plus there is a wonderful and glowing thread that runs through and among all mountain people that makes them all kin to each other and they lovingly refer to one another as aunt Marg, or uncle John or cousin Sally simply out of the love, respect, trust and affection that they have for one another.
This abounding and heartfelt affection for one another gives them great liberty and a much welcomed hospitality among them and their families and can be felt as you visit among these wonderful people for everywhere you go no sooner that you sit down for a visit the first question they ask you is are you hungry? They all want you to feel as if you are home and they make you welcome and go out of their way to look for all the good that is in you and always overlook your short comings or faults. They never try and find fault in anyway and in that beautiful state of mind and wonderful thread that runs through all mountain people they have found a true sense of real liberty, love for one another and a kindness that is rare among peoples of today.
While many in the outside world and far removed from these beautiful mountain people often consider them uneducated, simple minded and lazy... but in fact nothing could be further from the truth. They are in fact bright, intelligent, well educated in the real things that really matter in life and are some of the hardest working, productive and industrious people in the world. Most of them who live in these green mountains and hollows of Eastern Kentucky have very little in the way of material possessions but they are truly rich in true liberty and human grace that fills their lives and persons with great dignity that has been born out of poverty, hardship, sorrow and human struggle and in them there is great beauty and in such abundance that you just want take them up on their offer of .... "stay all night.... stay a little longer...pull off your coat and throw it in the corner!"
The essence of these wonderful peoples lives consists of discerning and knowing the simplicity of the truth, living in it and having true liberty in the freedom of loving forgiveness, a concern for one another, brotherly love and in the knowledge, wisdom and common sense of the Bible and it's teachings and that is the beautiful silver thread that makes them all kin folks and why they have such love and respect for one another and treat each other with true love and the grace of Christ who lives in their hearts and is at work in their hands as they toil in extreme hardship for a living wherein they can have true liberty and freedom that flowed in the veins of their pioneer ancestry and great American pioneering history that settled the American wilderness and carved out a great Nation with little more than their bare hands and in my heart and mind they are true American patriots and the real heroes of America today for each of them has the pioneering blood and the spirit of a Daniel Boone pulsing forth in their veins and in the love of true liberty and freedom that fills their hearts. They know and can see the simplicity and value of the truth and couple that truth with true liberty in Christ Jesus and cling to their God given freedom in their mountain homes and in the hollows and hills of these great Kentucky mountains where the wild roses always bloom in the spring among the graves of their ancestors and family members often buried just a few yards on the other side of their hillside gardens but always in clear sight of the front porch where they sit and look out upon the graves of their sleeping loved ones and daily remember them in prayer and long to see them again and they know that someday they will walk with them again in glory for they have within them the spirit of Christ and in that Holy Spirit of truth and true love they have found true victory over the world! Yes! they have been set free in his grace and true liberty that knows no bounds, bonds , bondage, chains or shackles!
It was my dear old grandmother " Aunt Marg" who on a cool summer evening in her little mountain cabin and first spoke to me about the Liberty we have in Christ as I sat at her beautiful feet...and it is to her that I owe so much of the joy I now have in my life today as I serve our precious Lord Jesus and do my best each day to learn to be the footsteps he takes in me and over the years I have looked back upon that cool summer evening with great love and affection for that dear little old mountain lady and saint of God who was well into her late 80's at the time she first spoke to me of the True Liberty we have in Christ. She taught me well and I have since learned much more as I have walked with our precious Saviour each and every day since my full surrender at the foot of the cross where I gave my life to him.
No! Jesus is not Dead!....dear friends ...He lives!!... and because He does you and I can have, see and know the beauty that my grandmother knew in the true Grace and True Liberty in our precious Lord and Saviour Christ Jesus!
Our True LIBERTY In Christ! Yes! It was my beloved grandmother who first spoke these words to me!....Jesus said, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He hath anointed me to preach the Gospel to the poor; He hath sent me to heal the broken-hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised" (Luke 4: 18).
"TO SET AT LIBERTY Them that are bruised!!!".." Oh how I love to speak , live and conduct my life and my ministry as a servant of Jesus in the beautiful and brilliant light of these words! But Oh how the devil hates these words and... Oh how many millions of people who sit in the pews of the worlds churches or the tens of thousands who preach from their pulpits truly hate and despise these words and if you examine closely the doctrines and dogmas of most religions and religious people around this troubled sin filled world they too hate these precious words as well!!.... for they know not the Truth nor the living word of God nor the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
God's Word Says: "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free! ...If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed!" (John 8:32,36).
Christianity is not a religion!..but is a living person and that person is CHRIST JESUS The Son Of The One And Only Living God!
There are hundreds of false religions, dogmas and doctrines of every kind and nature but Christianity is the body of the living Christ and his saved, washed in his blood and dedicated, sold out servants and followers of the living Christ and HE and HE alone is the only one who offers salvation from sin and deliverance from death, hell and the grave! Nearly every religion on earth is motivated by FEAR but our faith in Christ Jesus is motivated by love, because "God is love." We who are true believers and the followers of Christ and not religion do not serve our precious Lord Jesus because we are afraid of Him. Nor do we as followers of Christ attend worship services or give our money to the Lord's work because we are afraid not to do so. We do these things because we love and honor God, who so loved us that He gave His only begotten Son to die for us. Listen!... there are tens of millions in America who go to church on Saturday or Sunday, and just sit through it's hour and the church program and it's rituals, simply because they are afraid not to do so because they have been taught that they must go and play church every now and then if they want to get to the promise land when this life comes to an end and they go to their graves."Perfect love casteth out fear" (I John 4:18). "God is love" (1 John 4:8)-and when we know Him we do not live in fear. Believers in Christ our Lord are not afraid to die, nor are they afraid to live an abundant life and fully enjoy and walk in their liberty and freedom in Christ our precious Lord and Saviour!
Yes! We who have laid it all down at the foot of the cross and live in the love and true grace of our precious Saviour Christ Jesus are not afraid to face death or to die because we know that Jesus will go with us through "the valley of the shadow of death" (Psalm 23). We also know that He will go with us beyond the valley of the shadow-"and we will dwell in the house of the Lord forever!" We know that our Lord Jesus Christ and He and He alone holds the only keys to victory over hell , death and the grave! (Rev. 1:18). As our loving Shepherd, He will go with us all the way through this life's journey and it is He alone who will be with us through the valley of the shadow of death-and since He holds the keys of hell and of death, we are set FREE and are at LIBERTY in soul , body, mind and spirit even while traveling on the roads and enduring all the burdens of this life as we all stand facing the other side of the grave. We do not worry about our Mediator (I Tim. 2:5), and we do not worry about death or Hell (Phil. 1:21-23; II Cor. 5:8). For we have Victory over all for we are sealed forever and ever in Christ our Lord!
LIBERTY! How sweet is this precious word!!! Liberty! Liberty! Liberty!
LISTEN! The only real and truly free people on this planet are those who live in the Lord Jesus. If you are washed in His blood, saved by His grace, trusting in His finished work, you are FREE! If you are not washed in His blood you are in bondage...you are a captive of sin, the devil and this sinful and hate filled world. But because I live in Christ I am in the world but not of it for I have been set free and am in and at Liberty in Christ our Lord and I am truly FREE and living the true life of Liberty indeed!LISTEN! The fifth chapter of Galatians begins with this statement: "Stand fast therefore in the Liberty where with Christ hath made us free." In the verses that follow, Paul cries and strikes out against legalizes, those who would mix law and grace. In verse twelve he uses language that is so shocking to many in the church and the Body of Christ today! "I WOULD THEY WERE EVEN CUT OFF WHICH TROUBLE YOU!" That is a very nice way of saying, "I wish they were dead-those who are attempting to get you believers to go back to the law!" Those words do not sound like some of the weak kneed sermons we hear today preached from the pulpits of the so called Christian world and it's preachers do they? I thank God for the preachers of the Gospel who will without fail stand firmly on the living word of God and who cry out and spare not the truth; but there are entirely far too many preachers today who preach and practice the tolerance of false and divisive doctrines of the devil and man made religions and their hell bound on a rocket sled doctrines, mumblings and dogmas!
The legalizes among the Galatians were commanding and demanding that the believers practice certain rituals which were practiced under the law. Paul however stood as he always did..... firmly for the Gospel of Jesus Christ; His message was "Christ-crucified, buried, risen, and coming again." He said: "I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and Him crucified! ...I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ that liveth in me. .." (I Cor. 2:2; Gal. 2:20).
Listen! To the Galatian believers and now to you and I Paul declares, "For, brethren, ye have been called unto LIBERTY! Only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another" (Gal. 5:13). We of course are not to use our liberty in Christ our Lord to satisfy the lust and greed of our own flesh. In I Corinthians 10: 31 Paul says, "Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God." God does not give any of His children a license to sin. A true believer does not want a license to sin. True believers desire to please Jesus-not their own lusts, selfish and worldly desires.
"For brethren, ye have been called unto liberty!" A child of God is not in bondage to anyone or any thing on this earth. We owe our love, devotion, confession, worship, service, time, money and talents to Almighty God, and to none other! We are not to bow down to any minister, preacher, evangelist, priest, bishop, pope or anyone else but JESUS who is very God in flesh. Every believer is truly of the royal family and priesthood of Christ Jesus! (I Pet. 2:9). In this marvelous day of grace, there should be no religious bosses, dictators, rulers, mediators, or golden robed and throned popes or other religious hot in tots for in Christ we are sufficient in all things and only in him have we all and everything that is needed to live a glorious life in true freedom and the true liberty of his grace where upon the cross of Calvary he shed His precious blood so that we may have Gods gift of true Liberty in Jesus and no other!
We are called to LIBERTY-and if we do not enjoy and rest in the blessed assurance of the beautiful liberty in Christ it is not our beloved Saviour's fault! If you, dear friend, have allowed some church denomination or religion, some bishop or religious dictator to take away your liberty as a child of God, it is your own fault. Why? Because every truly born-again person has the Holy Spirit in his bosom (Rom. 8:9; John 3:5)-and He (the Holy Spirit) can convict us of sin (John 16:9), draw us to God (John 6:44), "born" us into the family of God (John 1:12,13; 3:5), lead us (Rom. 8:14), fill us (Eph. 5:18), and seal us (Eph. 4:30). He (the Holy Spirit) most certainly can lead us in what to do and what not to do; to whom we should confess, and to whom we should not confess; where to give our money, and where not to give our money. We are called to Liberty! I am this day and hour enjoying my true liberty as a son of of the living God; are YOU?
Writing to the Corinthian believers, Paul said, "Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, THERE IS LIBERTY" (II Cor. 3:17) .Dear brothers and Sisters I now make the following statement in love and from a sincere heart-not to hurt, but to offer help: Some precious believers are afraid to move without the permission of their religious potentates God's shepherds are not to be bosses nor dictators; they are to be leaders of the sheep. Spiritual leaders are not to be "lords over God's heritage" (1 Pet. 5:3). No one is to be a lord over the sons of God except the Lord Jesus, who purchased us with His own blood on the cross of Calvary!
No one has a right to tell God's sons what they can eat on certain days, what they can do on certain days, what they can wear on certain days or what day they should come together to worship God! ALL days are the Lord's and we are free from the law and are free by his grace and we are to love Him, worship and serve Him every day. If we are saved, He will lead us to eat right, dress right, and go to the right places and be among the right people. There are millions of Americans who are commanded not to go into certain churches, attend certain services, etc. For any preacher, priest, bishop, or anyone else to tell a person where he may or may not go, is to be "lord over God's heritage of Liberty in Christ our Lord for it is He alone who holds our Liberty and no other ....and it is he alone who should lead us in the precious Liberty of his Grace!
Listen! I certainly believe that a Christian should belong to a body of believers and a church and one that stands up for and preaches the whole Gospel and I do not believe we should support error; but it is religious dictatorship for a minister to tell his people it is a sin for them to attend another service just because the service is in another church. If a Jew wishes to attend a service in a Pentecostal or Baptist church, he has a right to do so; no man has any right to tell him he cannot! God made us all free moral agents. We are individuals-not puppets! If a Catholic desires to attend a protestant service, no man, according to the Bible, has any right to command him not to attend. BUT-this is being done in Protestant churches, Jewish churches, Catholic churches not only in America but all over the world!LISTEN! Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is LIBERTY!!... whether it be in the heart of an individual who preaches the Gospel on a street corner, in the local assembly as it meets for services, or in whatever capacity form or on any day of the week men meet to offer praise and worship to God the father! If HE (the Holy Spirit) is there, then there is true LIBERTY! The Spirit of God is not bound! The Word of God is not bound! The individual child of God is not bound! Liberty reigns where the Spirit of God has and is given the unhindered right-of-way in, for and of the believer!
Writing to the Hebrew believers, Paul says: "Having therefore, brethren, boldness (LIBERTY) to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus" (Heb. 10:19). There was a day when the poor sinner was forced to have another plead his case: In the Old Testament era of the law, the sinner brought his lambs or doves to the priest, and the priest offered their blood and made his plea to God on behalf of the sinner. BUT THANKS BE UNTO GOD, that day is gone forever! Our High Priest THE LORD JESUS offered His own blood, "once and for ALL and forever!" (Read Hebrews chapter 9, and 10: 1-13.) And now-in His name, through His blood-the weakest, most humble, most unlearned saint is invited to come BOLDLY to the throne of Grace and make his or her requests known unto God! (Heb. 4: 16). God does not want His children to approach Him in a cowed, shy or fearful way; He wants us to come as SONS...and Saints!... and the Kings and Queens of his mighty Kingdom for that is who we are ...for we are sealed forever in Christ in heavenly places.Thank You Dear Lord Jesus!
"There is ONE God, and ONE Mediator between God and men, THE MAN Christ Jesus" (I Tim. 2:5)- not the church in the community, not the preacher in the pulpit, not the priest in the confessional, not the virgin Mary in heaven, not the pope in Rome, not the denomination nor its leaders. We are to approach God not through a building, not through a prayer book, not through an image or statue made with hands, not through signs, sacrifices, singings, or the mumblings or so called tongues BUT-through our Mediator, THE MAN CHRIST JESUS our Beloved and Precious and loving Saviour! ....Who is not dead ....but LIVES and is coming again!
Listen!God wants us to come to Him as a son would come before his earthly father and make known our requests. God wants us to expect HIM and have true faith that HE alone not someone else will answer our prayer according to His promise in His Living Word. Sons of God should not approach Him in the manner of a sheep killing dog groveling like a coward, acting as though God were about to step on them because they ate the wrong kind of meat on a certain day of the week, or because they attended the wrong service on the so called wrong day or because the right man among them did not speak. God desires His sons and children to come to Him as the Bible invites-through the blood of Jesus, BOLDLY not as a surf but as a King and the sons of the living God sealed for ever in Christ our Lord!
We are to come to and approach God in prayer as one that has been set free-not as one still in bondage; as one truly enjoying true liberty not as one wearing the chains and shackles of religion! Remember, dear friends, "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." We need not bow to man, nor to images, nor to programs laid out by the religions or idols of man but we can come boldly to the throne of grace through a new and living way, which He hath consecrated for us, through the veil of His shed blood and His precious flesh that suffered and died for us upon the cross of Calvary! (Heb. 10:20).
Religions Have Never Been Willing To Admit The Truth Of The The Living Word Of God In The Holy Scriptures:
"It is finished!" (John 19:30).
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast" (Eph. 2:8,9).
"Christ. ..made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption!" (I Cor. 1:29,30).
" ...ye need not that any man teach you. .," (I John 2:27).
"...and ye are complete in Him (Christ)" (Col. 2:10).
"The blood of Jesus Christ (God's) Son cleanseth us from all sin" (I John 1:7).
"If we (not the preacher, the priest, the bishop) confess our sins, He (Jesus-not the preacher, priest, or bishop or a pope) is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9)."...we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: and He is the propitiation for our sins. .." (1 John 2:1,2).In this marvelous day of grace it is CHRIST, and Christ alone who mediates with the Father. We are saved through His blood, kept by His power, led by His Spirit, sealed forever by His Spirit-and we will be confessed to the Father by Him (Matt. 10:31-33). We enjoy the position of sons not surfs....but only because of the FINISHED work of God's only begotten Son (John 3:16-18).
Not only do we as sons of God have liberty to enter boldly into the presence of the Father, but all believers in Christ have the perfect law of liberty. We read in James 1 :25, "Whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein. ..this man shall be blessed." The subject here is the Word of God-for the perfect law of liberty IS the Living Word of God. Paul said, "When that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away" (I Cor. 13:10).
In II Timothy 3: 16 Paul declares that ALL Scripture is given by inspiration of God-and the inspired Scripture is all there is of the Word of God. Through ALL Scripture, the man or woman of God is perfectly furnished unto all good work! Religions, denominations, and men tell us today that they have a right to add to the Word, or interpret the Word for the day in which we live. They add dogmas and declare them to be of God. But I say with Paul, "Let God be true, but every man a liar!" (Rom. 3:4) .
God's Word Also Declares:
"Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you FREE!" (John 8:32).
"Sanctify them through thy truth: thy Word is truth!" (John 17: 17).
"I am the way, the truth, and the life! No man cometh unto the Father, but by me (Jesus)!" (John 14:6).All we need to know about God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the way of salvation, heaven, hell, the devil, sin, righteousness-or anything else that has to do with time and eternity so far as our relationship with God is concerned-can be found in the perfect law of liberty-the Living Word of God. But there are many today who dare to add to and take away from the precious word of God!
Paul said that the time would come when men would "forbid to marry, command to abstain from meats, etc." ( I Tim. 4: 1-3) .The damning sin of the Pharisees was following the traditions of men, refusing to hear the words of Jesus. Jesus said to those religionists, "Search the Scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they (the Scriptures) are they which testify of me. And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life" (John 5:39,40).
It seems that people today are so willing to do, give, go, strive, sacrifice, or do anything EXCEPT SIMPLY TRUST IN CHRIST JESUS to save, keep, deliver, lead, protect, supply every need, and see us safely home to heaven! Why in the world do men demand that their dogmas, doctrines, and traditions must be obeyed? Believer, do everything the Spirit leads you to do-but try the spirits and be sure the spirit you are following is the Holy Spirit (I John 4:1-4).
In II Corinthians 11:13-15 Paul sounds a solemn warning concerning false teachers and false preachers. Many times these men are transformed as angels of light. There are many who come in the name of religion, but who are actually agents of the devil and the devil seldom comes in his true form; he can and does operate in many forms and we have only to look at the pictures and news clips of Jonestown and the more than 900 people who drank the death mill poison of Jim Jones who led them to hell to know and see first hand that we should not put our trust in man and his devised religions and the followers of them.
Yes, this perfect law of liberty that is the living word of God!.. meets every need, answers every question: It teaches us how to live, it warns us concerning false teachers, and in Galatians 5:1 it commands us to "Stand fast therefore in the LIBERTY wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage."
Listen! Paul had but one message: CHRIST CRUCIFIED! and he said, "Though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed" (Gal. 1:8,9) .We do not hear much preaching like that in this day and age, do we? This is the age of tolerance. We must coexist, they say; we must mix with liberals, modernists, false religions if we hope to help them. But that is not what God's Word teaches! Paul told the Corinthians to "come out from among them, and be ye separate. .." (II Cor. 6:17). James said, "Know ye not that the friendship of the world is " enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God" (James 4:4). And in II John 10, 11 we are instructed, " If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine (the doctrine of Jesus), receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds!"
God pity the crowd of false religionists who demand that their people wear a certain kind of clothes-(or they will go to hell); attend services on certain days- (or they have the mark of the beast); give all their tithes and offerings in one little basket-(or they are not giving right); abstain from meats "which are to be received with thanksgiving"...and if they do not abstain they are excommunicated; abstain from marrying although the Bible teaches that every man should have his own wife and every woman her own husband! These who set themselves up as lords over God's heritage are wrong because the Bible clearly teaches that "If the Son shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed"...have their reward coming in judgment from the hand of Almighty God!
I am so thankful that the First Church Of The Gospel Ministry and all of our beloved ministers all around the world can and do stand fast in the LIBERTY of God's marvelous grace and the Finished work of Christ upon the cross of Calvary! No man has any right to dictate dogmas and doctrines and then demand sons of God to obey them. Sons of God are to obey the Word of God-and nothing more and this beloved ministry and outreach missions church has stood for that Biblical principal for over seven decades and our mission has always been to help TO SET AT LIBERTY Them that are bruised!
I Thank God for the liberty we enjoy in Christ now even while we wait for the glorious liberty that is to come when we receive our bodies like Jesus' resurrection body: "Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God" (Rom. 8:21).
Listen!When Adam sinned he sold the entire creation into the sin of hell bound slavery. Death and the curse moved upon Adam, Eve, Satan, the animal kingdom, the atmospheric heavens, the ground...Yes! ..upon all creation. (Read the third chapter of Genesis for the full account.) The last Adam the Lord Jesus came into the world to redeem what the first Adam lost. Jesus came to die for the sin of the whole world. He came "not to be ministered unto, but to minister and to give His life a ransom for many" (Matt. 20:28). He lived on this earth for thirty-three and a half years "tempted in all points like as we are, yet without sin!" (Heb. 4:15).
Just before Jesus passed His spirit back to the heavenly Father, He said, "It is finished!" Jesus fulfilled every jot and tittle of the law and the prophets (Matt. 5:17; Rom. 10:4). He satisfied every wish of the heavenly Father (John 17). God testified and spoke in an audible voice on more than one occasion, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased" (Matt. 3:17; 17:5).
Listen! The sin-debt has been settled forever. "Whosoever will" is invited to come unto the Lord Jesus and be saved (Rom. 10: 13; John 3: 16; 5:24; 6:37; II Pet. 3:9). BUT -we also have this blessed hope: Jesus is coming again! All questions about His second coming are answered in God's Word. The Word plainly proclaims His first coming, and it just as clearly proclaims His second coming. He came the first time to redeem the soul of man; He is coming the second time to redeem the body:"Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed" (1 Cor. 15: 51,52). For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord" (1 Thess. 4:16,17). "Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is" (1 John 3:2).
Listen! Not only will the sons of God receive deliverance from these bodies of corruption but the whole creation will be delivered...the curse will be removed from all creation! (Read the eleventh chapter of Isaiah.) This time of glorious liberty to be enjoyed by all creation will come to pass during the Millennial reign of Christ with His Bride (the Church) (Rev. 20:4-6; Isaiah 9:6,7).
God never intended that this beautiful earth and His creation should groan and travail as it has done for these thousands of long and weary years but the time of groaning is about over. The glorious day of Millennium is now upon us! All prophecy in Scripture and signs revealed in the current events of this day and hour fully coincide with the Word of God and clearly point to the soon coming of our precious Lord Jesus!
The devil has certainly wrought havoc in this earth but our Lord Jesus one glorious day will bring order out of chaos; He will "make all things new" (Rev. 21:5). Peter says, "We according to His promise, look for a new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness" (II Pet. 3: 13). And Paul tells us: "Our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body..." (Phil. 3:20,21).
I Thank God, that I know Jesus as my Saviour and that I walk with him each day as I learn from him to be the footsteps he takes in me! Do you know Him? Really Know Him? Is He YOUR Saviour? If not, I pray this day and hour that you will trust Him now and if you have just some sort of "religion" but do not know the joy of Christian liberty in Christ Jesus then turn your back on religion, doctrines, dogmas and mans traditions and just trust in Jesus!
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house" (Acts 16:31).
"Neither is there Salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved" (Acts 4: 12).
Yes, Jesus came to preach the Gospel to the poor. ..to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised" (Luke 4: 18). We who believe have liberty in the Spirit, we are called to liberty, we have liberty to enter God's presence, we have the perfect law of liberty, we look for the promised "glorious liberty."
We give unto Jesus all the Praise, All The Honor,All The Glory and all The Victory! Forever And Ever!
